A film entitled, “The Beauty of National Parks of Taiwan”, has been prepared for foreign visitors to allow them to be aware of what Taiwan has to offer. Following the meeting, The Republic of Gambia Office of Tourism and Culture representatives will be guided by Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials through Yangmingshan National Park to avail the honorable ladies of the national park’s natural scenery.

Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of the Interior Director-General Wu-Hsiung Lee announced that since Taiwan established the first national park at Kenting in 1982, it has pursued national park development to establish the current seven. The Ministry of the Interior (MOI) officially made public the seventh National Park, Dongsha Marine National Park Plan and Map on Jan 17,2007. Oceanic preservation is currently a major task for all peoples of the world as they do God’s work and heed His bidding. The establishment of Dongsha Marine National Park shall be Taiwan’s answer to the underwater aspect of this major global challenge. It is hoped that Secretary of State for Tourism and Culture Colley and Assistant Secretary of State for Tourism and Culture Sallah can obtain a better understanding of Taiwan’s national parks and humanistic theory on this excursion.
