This tour will explore many interesting creatures, like the Chiromantes dehaani crab, and the reason behind its bright red shell. We will look at what kind of crab is good at climbing trees with their slender claws. What is the difference between the regular walking stick and the rare walking stick that produces and sprays green oil? And we will teach you how to find and tell the difference between sand crab tracks and hermit crab tracks.
Of course, the stars in the summer night sky over the quiet harbor are also a sight to behold. Perhaps you might catch a glimpse of the Southern Cross. You can also harvest the famous harbor tea yourself. These tea leaves are limited in number were grown on the southernmost tip of the island, nourished by sea salt and the wind off the mountains.
This event will take place on July 20 and August 10. Applications are accepted online and we will accept 40 people for each tour. Tour fees are NT$600 (excluding accommodation). Please visit the headquarters website (http://www.ktnp.gov.tw/) or call the Manchu Service Station at 08-8801680.
