This year’s ecological cycling event will be held on November 12 with the theme of “Shangri-la of Cycling”. With the friendliest cycling environment as its main attraction, it will allow cyclers to roam among the Southern Fujian style buildings, old westernized buildings, alee trees and sorghum fields.

This event is not a speed or time competition. Its purpose is to allow participants to enjoy the beautiful natural environment of Kinmen and experience the abundance of cultural & historical heritage and the beauty of Mother Nature in depth. Regarding the organization of this year’s cycling route, we added coastal trails to allow participants to appreciate the coastal diversification of Kinmen and military camps along the way.

With the holding of this low-carbon recreational event, we expect to reduce the ecological and environmental impact created by tourism and hope more visitors can willing to travel by bicycles in Kinmen instead of highly pollutive vehicles that creates exhaust gas and noises. While enjoying the geographical and cultural beauty of Kinmen, we expect to take care of the ecological environment of Kinmen with actual actions.
