Yangmingshan National Park Headquarters has arranged a butterfly watching activity for hearing impaired people on Erziping obstacle free trail together with Taipei City Association for the Hearing Impaired, the aim being to give the hearing impaired a chance to appreciate the beauty of nature close up and learn about conservation.
Vegetation shrouded Erziping Trail is 1.7 kilometers long and has abundant wildlife. The trail is flat and suitable for walking throughout the year. In summer, a large number and variety of insects are active along the trail, with the butterflies that dance trough the air undoubtedly the stars. Two butterfly watching activities for hearing impaired people will be arranged by the park headquarters, one of July 9 and one on July 23, each with a maximum of 36 participants. The activity is free and throughout the activity national park interpreters will guide participants as they observe and learn about butterflies in their natural habitat.
