The Fourth Maintenance Office of the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC (Nan'ao Works Section) is responsible for the maintenance of road safety on Provincial Highway 9. There will be roadwork between 172.7 km – 122.1 km on the Provincial Highway 9 from 01 September – 30 September 2019. Specifically:

1. 172.7 km and 173.35 km (Qingshui Section) for the Steel Rockfall Protection Tunnel construction work. Traffic Control Dates: 3 September 2019 - 30 September 2019 Passage Time: to be determined by on-site traffic lights. Closure of south lane for construction on a two-lane highway; remaining north lane to alternate traffic directions by traffic lights.

2. Provincial Highway 9 at 122 km +100 – 123 km + 100 (Nan’ao Section) for the drainage railing work Traffic Control Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Traffic Control Dates: 3 September 2019 - 6 September 2019 Passage Time: to be determined by on-site traffic lights. Closure of one lane for construction on a two-lane highway; remaining one lane to alternate traffic directions by traffic lights.

3. Provincial Highway 9 at 142.2 km -142.26 km (Guanyin Section) Traffic Control Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Traffic Control Dates: 3 September 2019 - 20 September 2019 Details: Construction of the drainage construction work. Passage Time: to be determined by on-site traffic lights. Closure of one lane on a two-lane highway; remaining one lane to alternate traffic directions by traffic lights. Traffic control does not apply on weekends and public holidays.

4. Provincial Highway 9 at 148.15 km and 149.8 km (Guanyin Section) Traffic Control Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Traffic Control Dates: 21 August 2019 - 20 September 2019 Passage: to be determined by on-site traffic lights. Closure of one lane for construction on a two-lane highway; remaining one lane to alternate traffic directions by traffic lights. Only if there is a special occasion, the passage will be every 30 minutes once. Traffic control does not apply on weekends and public holidays.

5. Provincial Highway 9 at 163 km (Heping Section) (Night Time traffic control) Traffic Control Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Traffic Control Dates: From 20:00, 10 September 2019 – 6:00 am on 11 September 2019 Passage: every hour once for 10 minutes on the hour
