Kinmen National Park Volunteers Promote Anti-Corruption at Sun Rise Education and Nursing Home, Showing Concern for Social Groups in a Leisurely Time

Anti-corruption volunteers of Kinmen National Park Headquarters visited the Sun Rise Education and Nursing Home of Sun Rise Social Welfare Foundation a few days ago to promote anti-corruption. Director-General Hsieh Wei-Sung of Kinmen National Park Headquarters indicated that building a government with integrity and strong capabilities and eliminating corruption is a major political endeavor of the nation, and also a strong desire of the general public. The government has constantly made changes based on the premise of preventing corruption and waste, and requires all employees to abide by the “Ethics Directions for Civil Servants”, and eliminate all private requests, influence-peddling and gifts. They should be focused on citizen services and create a corruption-free, efficient and professional government. Corruption and waste prevention is a continuous task that relies on full cooperation between public and private sectors. Director-General Hsieh Wei-Sung indicated anti-corruption volunteers have promoted anti-corruption during events, and been on duty at exhibition halls to promote the government’s anti-corruption policy to visitors, hoping to show the public the government’s determination to prevent corruption. To extend the reach of anti-corruption volunteers into different parts of Kinmen, the volunteers visited Sun Rise Education and Nursing Home a few days ago to promote anti-corruption, during which they engaged in exchanges with residents of the home, and gave CDs and pamphlets made by the national park as gifts. The event was a success thanks to the assistance of Director Shih Mei-Chu of Sun Rise Education and Nursing Home.
