In order to stop poaching and its impact on wild animal populations, Taroko National Park Headquarters conservationists have for a long time undertaken conservation inspection in all areas of the park to enforce the ban on poaching and to confiscate hunting tools. According to the statistics, less poached game was seized and fewer hunting tools were confiscated this year than before. Poaching has decreased after this extensive conservation action.
